Welcome to the Central Highlands Science Centre. The Science Centre is located in Spencer Smith Pavilion, Emerald Show Grounds.

The opening hours are
Monday 9:00am – 2:30pm
Tuesday 9:30am – 12:30pm
Wednesday 9:30am – 2:00pm
Thursday 9:30am – 2:00pm

Anyone is most welcome to visit the Central Highlands Science Centre during opening hours. We also accept group bookings.

Do you like to get “hands on”? We have over 30 interactive exhibits relating to local industry, environment and the solar system. Do you have an interest in astronomy? Astronomy evenings can be arranged for group bookings. Accept the challenge and process raw cotton through a mini cotton gin to achieve your own natural cotton ball.
